From Life to Drama: Scriptwriting Insights by Ms. Wong Wing Sze

Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant 25-28 “Drama and Communication: Enhancing Chinese Language Proficiency, Personal Growth, and Cross-Institutional Collaboration through Performance” Lecture Series

The TDLEG project, Drama and Communication: Enhancing Chinese Language Proficiency, Personal Growth, and Cross-Institutional Collaboration through Performance Lecture Series, organized by CLEP, invited Ms. Wong Wing Sze, a renowned Hong Kong playwright, to deliver the fourth lecture of the series. The lectures were held on March 13 and 14 at YIA-LT5, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and G/F CBA, Chow Yei Ching Building, The University of Hong Kong respectively. Over 300 participants from both universities registering. Ms. Wong Wing Sze shared her creative journey with the students and used the “three-act play” format to tell her story in a lively and engaging manner. She also shared her first play, The White Mouse, and performed a live reading of the dialogue from the script. Ms. Wong is currently working on her next play, and we look forward to her new work.
